PARK Swan & JANG Sunggun , Cityscope/Microscape, Single-channel video, 00:15:00, 2021

This project seeks to find the source of conflicting responses from the landscape of old buildings, via observation through video and sound archives as if it were under a microscope. The main goal is to see if the ambigious emotion we feel from such objects can be reached to others.

Park Swan & Jang Sunggun

Swan Park‘s works are focused on patterns and distortion of architecture through photos and videos. Recently he has been working with various institutions such as the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the National Asian Cultural Center, the Art Sunjae Center, and the Arario Museum.

Sunggun Jang spent most of his life making loud music. He began his career as an Ambient Black Metal solo project in 2002, and Grindcore band Bamseom Pirates from 2009 to 2015 as a bass player. Since 2016 he has been collaborating in various fields through Ambient music.
